Cable Railing
Cable railing, also known as wire railing, contemporary railing, or modern railing, offers a sleek, minimalist design for both interior and exterior projects—whether residential or commercial. What sets cable railing apart is its ability to provide safety without obstructing your view. The horizontal stainless steel cables subtly fade into the background, enhancing your surroundings rather than detracting from them.
At Stone Hill Railings LLC, we offer two framework options for our custom-fabricated cable railings: powder-coated steel or stainless steel. Both options are paired with stainless steel cables and matching cable ends, ensuring a high-quality, durable finish. Our fabrication process begins with raw steel or stainless steel materials, typically 20 to 24 feet long, which are expertly cut, welded, drilled, and sanded to precise specifications. Once the custom framework is complete, it is powder-coated for a flawless finish before being installed on-site. The stainless steel cables are then threaded through the posts, secured with swaged cable ends for a clean, polished look.
Each custom-fabricated cable railing is designed to fit your unique space, providing a tailored solution that won’t fit anywhere else. Please note, we do not stock or supply prefabricated cable railing kits—everything we create is custom-made to ensure a perfect fit for your project.
You may wonder what sets horizontal cable railing apart from welded horizontal railing. The main difference lies in the material: welded horizontal railings use solid steel or stainless steel bars welded between posts, while cable railing uses stainless steel cables that are threaded through the posts. Both offer a modern aesthetic, but with distinct visual and structural differences.
